6. Ohio is also known as the Buckeye State due to the abundance of buckeye trees in its territory.

7. Ohio borders with such American states as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and also with Canadian state of Ontario.

8. The city of Akron, which is located in Ohio, is known to be the rubber capital of the world.

9. The capital and the largest city of Ohio is Columbus.

10. Cleveland is known as the first electrified city of the world. It was lighted electrically in 1879.
